2-jaw parallel gripper RP series with roller guide
Variants: RP-50-I
Compact precision parallel gripper with roller guide for highly repeatable handling.
The RP‑50‑I is a lightweight, high‑accuracy 2‑jaw parallel gripper featuring a roller guide system for exceptionally smooth and precise jaw movement. With a gripping force of 90 N (external) and 12.7 mm total stroke, the gripper offers an excellent balance of performance and compactness. A repeatability of 0.01 mm ensures stable results even in demanding automation tasks.
Thanks to its minimal‑friction design, gripping force is finely adjustable, making the RP‑50‑I ideal for sensitive handling tasks. Weighing just 0.15 kg, the gripper supports finger lengths up to 80 mm and operates between 1.5–8 bar. Fast opening/closing times of 0.14 s enable high cycle rates in modern production environments.
Perfect for precision assembly, small‑parts automation, electronics manufacturing or laboratory robotics requiring compactness, speed and reliable repeatability.
Highlights
Features
Precise jaw movement and high repeat accuracy due to roller guide
Large opening stroke with small external dimensions
Sensitively adjustable gripping force through minimal friction
Optionally available stroke monitoring to monitor the jaw position
Operating principle
The parallel movement of the jaws is generated by a rack and pinion drive. The jaws are guided by roller bearings.
